These Woodlands at Algonkian wedding photos were the perfect way to end our 2019 wedding season! Deyci and Victor’s wedding day was one for the books. Everything ran incredibly smoothly which is not typical for a wedding day. If you’re a photographer, you know exactly what I mean :)
One of the highlights of the day was that the ceremony was in Spanish. I grew up watching TV in Spanish as a child, and to this day, I understand 80-90% of everything I hear in Spanish. I’ve done quite a few weddings in the past where being able to direct the “abuelitas” for the family photos was definitely a plus!
Also, Deyci and Victor’s wedding venue was absolutely incredible. So, it goes without saying that their Woodlands at Algonkian wedding photos turned out amazing! They’ve known each other since they were kids, as their families are very close. His family had a NYE party and that’s when they both realized they had feelings for each other. They’ve been together ever since.
The Proposal
“I thought we were just going to family dinner at one of my favorite restaurants at the National Harbor. Little did I know Victor and his family were already at the waterfront waiting for us to get there. It was pouring rain and I had no idea what was about to happen. All of a sudden I see Victor with a bouquet of roses and his family standing right behind him and thats when I realized what was about to happen!” – Deyci
When did you know that he was the one and vice versa?
Bride: “One day while out at dinner we were just having a really good time and I realized that he was the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.”
Groom: “Since the beginning of our relationship we had a great connection. We had so many things in common and one of those was the love for God. This made our relationship stronger and made me realize she was the one I wanted to spend my life with.”
