3 Easy Ways to Promote Your Blog Posts

Today, I want to share with you three easy ways to promote your blog posts. How would you like to get more sets of eyes on your work? Just because you blog a session once, it doesn’t mean that you can’t promote it multiple times.

You likely already know that not everybody is seeing everything you ever post, which is why I want to give you a few ideas on how to promote your blog posts in different ways to get momentum…

…starting TODAY!

3 Easy Ways to Promote Your Blog Posts

1. Facebook Notes

You can think of Facebook Notes as “blog posts on Facebook”. So, instead of pointing people to go to your website to read more about a session or wedding, you can bring your blog post to Facebook and create more engagement directly on this platform. With Facebook Notes, you can create a title, choose a cover photo, and add pictures to the body of the post.

Here’s an example of a Facebook Note.

2. Facebook Posts

Do you know those images you’ve paired up so beautifully in your blog post? You’ve worked too hard for them to only live on your blog page. So, here’s what I started doing lately! I take each set of images from my blog post and schedule them to post into Facebook on a different day with basically the same text that might say something along the Iines of:

“Click here to browse the blog for more sessions like this!”

“Click here to browse the blog for more wedding photos!”

“Click here to see this gorgeous wedding/session!”

“Click here to see Grace and Dalton’s beautiful engagement session!”

If you have 20-30 images for example, you can easily schedule them in less than 10 minutes, and have content that will post for you automatically for a full month! Ideally, you’d want to change up the post copy (text) for each image, but as a wedding photographer, your images might speak louder than a thousand words. Try it! I promise you, it works amazingly well!

3. Screen Recording

Lastly, one of my favorite things to do whenever I publish a blog post is to do a screen recording as I’m scrolling through the photos in my blog post and post them in my Instagram stories. Also, brides absolutely LOVE this! To see how this works, check my “Engaged” highlights on my Instagram.

And there you have it! Tell me: which one of these three ways to promote your blog posts are you going to try next? Comment below and let me know!
