The Year In Review post is definitely one of my favorite blog posts to share each year! It is so much fun to put together and I always get a good laugh out of it. Some of the behind-the-scene photos my second shooters take of me throughout the wedding season are hysterical! But I will let you see for yourself […]

Some days I dream about being a Cancun wedding photographer! I wouldn’t mind going back to Mexico to photograph a wedding…or two :) We had been planning to go on a family vacation for a while. When you have two little ones, you know the chances of making that happen are very slim. Ha! However, this […]

Ever since I photographed my first Patrick Henry wedding last year, I secretly dreamed about photographing another wedding there one day. When Hoa contacted me about her wedding, I couldn’t have been more excited. She picked some of the best wedding industry vendors for her big day and I was beyond excited to work with them. […]

There’s nothing like a fall Virginia wedding! Especially when the wedding takes place at Sorella Farms. There’s just something magical about the Blue Ridge Mountains, pretty fall colors and a beautiful barn wedding venue. One of my favorite things to do is to listen to my couples’ love stories. I love hearing how they met, […]

I’ve been waiting to share Devin and Matt’s Central Virginia wedding for a while! Truth be told, when they say that October is to photographers as April is to accountants, they are not joking. Not only that, but for me, November proved to be even busier than October. For that reason, the blog got a little neglected because I […]

I am so thrilled about Micah and Andrew’s Skyline Drive engagement photos! When Micah emailed me, I knew I would absolutely love working with her. I soon discovered that Andrew and I shared the same birth country, Romania. As if this was not already exciting enough, soon after their engagement session I found out that […]

If you follow me on social media (Instagram and Facebook), you already know that last week my family and I spent a few days in Mexico for vacation. (And now I wish I was a Mexico wedding photographer!) It was such an amazing experience that on our second day there we already started making […]

I met Casey for her fall bridal photos at Sorella Farms a week before her wedding. To be completely honest, I fell in love with her dress as soon as I saw it. I mean, it even had pockets!! It doesn’t get any better than that. Casey works for the Lynchburg Fire Department and this […]

This was my first time taking engagement photos in Ashburn, Virginia and I am in love! Who knew that the 1757 Golf Club was such a great location for engagement pictures?! To say that I am excited for Alyssa and Chris’ wedding here next year would be an understatement! We moved to Northern Virginia about half […]

I started my business after getting my first DSLR camera as a wedding gift — I knew next to nothing about photography, but I loved it.
In the beginning, I was afraid to tell anyone that I was starting a photography business. I thought they wouldn’t take me seriously, and might even make fun of me.
The thing is: now I talk to photographers all the time who are dealing with the same insecurities I had when I was just starting out — Turns out, ain’t nobody got time to be afraid of their dreams!
That’s why I teach the same systems and formulas that made me into the confident photographer I am today to photographers just like you.
