Lynchburg-Wedding-Photographer1When Christa and Israel asked me to photograph their wedding, I knew it was going to be a blast. What made this wedding stand-out from others was the unity within the family. It was great to see such closeness between siblings. One unique item that caught my eye was the bouquet that Christa’s mom hand-made for her. It was exquisite in detail and was a great display piece. To be honest, I do not know if the girls who lined up to catch it during the reception were trying to be “next” in getting married or just wanted a closer look. Not only was the bouquet, as well as the other decorations gorgeous, but the venue suited the couple perfectly. View full post »

This Easter is especially important to me because it is the first one I get to spend with my newborn son. He is my little miracle! He was not supposed to be born until April 18, 2014 but came a little early, March 27, 2014. This was definitely a surprise, but I consider it a blessing to get an additional 3 weeks to spend with him! View full post »

Earl-Leigh - These are excellent tips! I made the mistake of trying on some glitzy, body-hugging dresses when I was getting married. It was not my style and the boutique owner could see it all over my face. When we found THE dress…we all knew it immediately!ReplyCancel

Historic-Downtown-Lynchburg-Engagement01Lauren and Wayne first met at Radford University in 2009 during their drawing class. During their time as art students, they would frequently visit their family and friends across the state of Virginia. Lauren, who is from the Lynchburg area, introduced Wayne to some of her favorite locations downtown. One of their favorite locations became the Speakertree Record store, where Wayne would stop in during their visit to expand his collection of vinyl records. Because of their love and appreciation for small businesses, downtown Lynchburg became a favorite location for shopping, dining, and visiting. Wayne proposed to Lauren in May of 2013, just outside of the studio where they first met. They plan to bring friends and family together to the central location of Lynchburg, Virginia for their wedding in June of 2015 at the wonderful location of West Manor Estate. Both Lauren and Wayne are very excited to continue building a strong relationship and are ready for whatever is next in their life. View full post »

Valentines-Day-Engagement-Lynchburg01This engagement session is by far one of our favorites. We teamed up with I Do Events from Lynchburg, Virginia to decorate and make this session beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed the elegant feel that this styled-session permeated.

Breanna and Seth were such a joy to work with. We literally could not have picked a better couple that resembles the meaning of love than these two special individuals. It was a true pleasure getting to know this couple and seeing the chemistry between them glowing in how they treated one another.

One thing we quickly learned about them is that the saying “opposites attract” certainly fits their relationship. Breanna has a love for ducks that is certainly not shared by Seth. Seth grew up in a country setting and is looking forward to living somewhere that is more city-like after marriage, whereas Breanna grew up in town and wants to one day live in the country. We are excited to see where their new life together will take them and also whether they will be living in the city or out in the country with little ducklings waddling around! View full post »

After-Wedding-Session (1)This after-wedding session for Ruben and Patricia took place in the beautiful landscapes of Oradea, Romania. This couple was easy to work with and listened to every piece of advice we gave them for posing. The scenery in this session is absolutely gorgeous and the weather was as well. Something that really made the photo shoot distinct was Patricia wearing a red sweater with her wedding dress. The added color really made the images pop. Ruben was very kind-hearted and made sure that he did everything he could to help his wife during the shoot, from hanging decorations to making sure her dress was not getting dirty. We wish this happy couple many more years of laughter and love! View full post »
