Memorial Day, in my opinion, is one of the most significant days celebrated in the United States and should be respected by all Americans. Nothing in this world is truly free, especially freedom. Memorial Day is a day set aside each year for Americans to remember those who served our Country in the Armed Forces to secure our Independence and Freedom. View full post »

weddings usb photographyI am really excited to share some of the new products that I have recently begun offering! These custom presentation boxes are a unique way of showcasing images for my clients. One of the positive aspects of this new product is that it offers endless possibilities in customizing the cover to feature some of the client’s best images.

We are also saying good-bye to the traditional DVD of images and embracing a more modern approach to delivering our digital files – custom USB drives. These drives are about the size of a business card and feature a picture of the client’s session on its surface. It is such a creative and unique product and my couples absolutely love it!

So excited to share these with my new couples!

I was thoroughly delighted to find these goodies in the mail at the beginning of this week! I’ve been searching around for a while now trying to find a unique product to gift my customers. I like sneaking in little treats for them as a way of saying thank you. I know they are always thrilled to get their digital files in the mail but I believe that having their images printed on something tangible just makes it a little more special. View full post »

Sorella Farms is one of my favorite wedding venues around! One of the most important decisions that you will be making for your wedding is the venue. It is the location that you will be holding the most-important day of your life at so it needs to be absolutely breathtaking. This needs to be a place that really reflects who you are as a couple and allows you to express yourself through the décor of it. It should not be a place that you choose without thought because remember, people are coming to see you and should be wowed on this day! With all of this being said, we decided to interview a venue that we believe is one of the most suitable, charming and stunning in the Central Virginia area: Sorella Farms. The following are the questions we asked Sorella as well as their answers: View full post »

Lynchburg-Wedding-Photographer1When Christa and Israel asked me to photograph their wedding, I knew it was going to be a blast. What made this wedding stand-out from others was the unity within the family. It was great to see such closeness between siblings. One unique item that caught my eye was the bouquet that Christa’s mom hand-made for her. It was exquisite in detail and was a great display piece. To be honest, I do not know if the girls who lined up to catch it during the reception were trying to be “next” in getting married or just wanted a closer look. Not only was the bouquet, as well as the other decorations gorgeous, but the venue suited the couple perfectly. View full post »

This Easter is especially important to me because it is the first one I get to spend with my newborn son. He is my little miracle! He was not supposed to be born until April 18, 2014 but came a little early, March 27, 2014. This was definitely a surprise, but I consider it a blessing to get an additional 3 weeks to spend with him! View full post »

Lynchburg-Bridal-Portraits01I can finally share this bridal session with you all! As you are reading this, you should know that Christa just walked down the aisle with the man she is no longer calling boyfriend or fiancé, but husband. I have scheduled this post to automatically show up on our website just moments after these two have officially tied the knot. I know the pictures of this wedding are going to be a blast to go through and select from and I cannot wait to share them with you. Until then, enjoy browsing through Christa’s bridal session that we captured last month! View full post »
